CARDS TO GO
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS
We, Cards to Go, reserve the right to change these terms and Conditions at any time. Please be aware that this is not a contract but terms of which we do business.
By using Cards to Go's website and/or placing an order for goods you confirm your agreement to our Terms and Conditions, including our Privacy Policy, as set in the following:
All Designs, Artwork and Stationery are copyrighted under Cards to Go. Any unauthorised reproducing, copying or plagiarism is strictly prohibited. We take unauthorised reproducing of any part of our stationery very seriously. Legal action will be taken in such cases. All designs and all parts of the design created by Cards to Go will remain copyrighted to Cards to Go.
The customer is responsible for obtaining permission for the printed reproduction of any images, photographs, artwork, maps and text including Hymns or Songs. The customer indemnifies Cards to Go against any action brought against it for breach of a third parties copyright.
All information supplied to Cards to Go, will not be shared to any third party, under the Data Protection Act 1998.
When a customer places a booking with Cards to Go, a 50% booking fee is required. The booking fee is non refundable. If the total value of any order is less than one hundred pounds the full amount is required at time of Booking/Ordering. This is deemed to be the booking fee on all order of one hundred pounds or less.
Please note that at time of booking if Order of Services/Day, Menus, Place cards, etc are also booked payment must be required before commencement of production.
All prices listed and quoted by Cards to Go, are in UK pounds sterling. For orders outside of the UK prices listed and quoted will exchange to the current exchange rate depending on the exchange rate at that particular time.
Payment is either cheque or bank transfer. All cheques to be made payable to S.Morris/ or Cards to Go
Orders cannot commence without a signed copy of these terms and conditions and appropriate booking fee. Final payment is required when proofs are returned, signed and approved for printing.
No stationery order will be printed and created for dispatch until full payment is received and cleared. This ensures that ownership is passed to the customer once posted. All products remain the property of Cards to Go until full payment has been received and cleared.
If cheques are returned or stopped, Cards to Go will require full payment of order and will revoke any discount given. Cards to Go will add any charges incurred to the customers balance. Failure to provide the full amount will result in termination of order and an invoice will be issued for any work: creation of artwork, labour, and material costs that has been undertaken.
Samples take approximately three to four weeks from date of order. No work is undertaken until payment has been received and cleared. Time commences from the first Monday after consultation. If for any reason there is a problem will suppliers we will contact you as soon as possible.
There are two proofs produced and after this PDF document will be emailed concerning wording. Requests after two proofs will incur a charge of £12.50 per proof.
Bespoke samples may use standard wording and layouts, if no wording is supplied at time of consultation.
If you supply Cards to Go will any photography's or other artwork to aid in the design of your stationery we will strive to ensure they your items are returned in the same conditions as we received them. However, should any loss or damage incur Cards to Go can not held liable.
4.1 INFORMATION
All information supplied for all guest names, orders of service and table plans must be supplied in a Microsoft word document format, we do not accept excel or any lists etc in tables or text boxes. Any information supplied in written format will be chargeable at £25 per hour for the time to type all information in.
5 PROOFS
5.1 WEDDING INVITATIONS:
Cards to go will provide the customer with two hard copy proofs for approval before production. Further proofs will be PDF copies only. If the customer requires particular wording this must be emailed to Cards to Go in Microsoft word format. Text should be typed clearly and using upper and lower case characters where required. Cards to Go, will not be liable for any punctuation, spelling or grammar used in such invitations, poems or other wording.
5.2 OTHER STATIONERY:
The proofing process follows the same format as above (wedding invitations) except only one hard copy will be provided.
5.3 SEATING/TABLE PLANS:
Due the bespoke nature of the seating/table plans produced by Cards to Go. Cards to Go can not produce a sample of these. However, Cards to Go will format and PDF it to the customer for approval. Information for these must be with Cards to Go a month before the wedding date. All information must be in a Microsoft Word Document, and must not include, text boxes, tables or columns.
Please note that Cards to Go is not responsible for any omissions or errors not found by the customer at the proofing stage.
Stationery is made to order, and lead times vary throughout the year. The customer will be advised of lead times at time of ordering. However, these are subject to change.
Cards to Go require proofs to be returned as follows:
Any amendments on first and second proofs must be written on the samples and must be returned to Cards to Go.
Cards to Go, will endeavour to supply the customer as agreed but cannot be held liable for situations beyond it's control, for example, discontinuation of materials and postal disputes, Acts of God, War, Strikes, Lockouts, Labour Disputes, Fire, Flood, Drought, or other causes beyond Cards to Go control.
Due to the bespoke and handcrafted nature of the stationery and products produced by Cards to Go, the customer accepts that there will be slight variations between items. All Cards to Go's stationery is hand crafted and as such variations can occur in colour, position, size, cutting or texture. Cards to Go, will not accept liability for any variations in colour, position, size, cutting or texture and do not deem these as faults within the stationery or other items. Cards to Go can also not be held responsible for the way the postal service handle the items dispatched to customers.
The cancelling of an order must be given in writing (electronic mail (email) not accepted) by the customer themselves and not a third party. Cards to Go will not and cannot accept instruction from a third party due to Cards to Go's Confidentiality and Privacy Policy.
The 50% booking fee is NON -REFUNDABLE.
In the event of an order being cancelled all completed work exceeding the 50% booking fee must be paid for.
If work is under way, i.e. Invitations have been dispatched to customer or dispatched to guests; NO refund will be given on any stationery. This is due to bespoke and personalised nature of the products Cards to Go produce.
Cards to Go reserve the right to use any stationery produced/created to promote our products.
9 BY SIGNING THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THE CUSTOMER IS ACCEPTING AND WILL ABIDE BY CARDS TO GO'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON ALL ISSUES.
